Hundreds of stained glass table lamps and pendants, each shade cut from opalescent sheet glass, wrapped in copper foil and soldered by hand. No two panels take the light the same way. Every lamp is wired, lit and tested before it leaves the bench, so what you receive is the same lamp that left our hands.

From Cut Sheet to Lit Shade
Cutting
Each panel is scored from opalescent sheet glass against a paper pattern, then ground to the line by hand. A 16 inch shade runs to well over a hundred pieces.
Foiling and solder
Every edge is wrapped in copper foil, tacked, then flooded with a bead of solder inside and out. The seams are the drawing, so they are run in one pass where possible.
Wiring and test
Shades are fitted to a copper cap and a cast column, wired to an E26/E27 socket with a switched cord, and left lit before the box is closed.
